About Me

I currently work from my home studio, based in a small rural village just outside Perth, in Perthshire, Scotland. 

I studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, (many years ago!!) where I specialised in Illustration & Printmaking, completing my BA Hons Degree in Design, and then later a Post Grad in Secondary Art Teaching at Moray House School of Education in Edinburgh. 

I embarked on my self-employed freelance illustration career while at home bringing up my children, and through that time worked freelance for a wide variety of clients in areas such as Women’s & Children’s Magazine Editorial, Children's Book Publishing and Greeting's Card Publishers.

In recent years I have predominately focused on building a portfolio of art which I offer for license for use on seasonal products. My Christmas and Holiday art has proven to be most popular so my art licensing catalogue is now exclusively geared towards this style & subject matter. I am also currently working on some fun products with a view to finally open my own little online shop here on my website later this year.
